Since 1890 ... Experience the History

2017 Wedding Trends, Pt. 1

Getting married this year? Every couple wants to have the wedding of the year, with the “WOW” factor that all of the guests will be talking about!  Weather you want to have a new take on a wedding classic, have a culinary experience, or even just be surrounded by beauty on your big day… we’ve gathered a list of hot wedding trends to look out for in 2017.

Garlands Galore

Seen the new Beauty and the Beast movie? We LOVE the garlands in the ending scene.  While garlands have been on the rise the past two years, I think that 2017 will be the year of the garland!  They are the perfect way to dress up your tables, decorate your ceremony arch, or add some flare to your wedding signs!

The Classic Cake

While the past few years have been dominated with cake pops, cupcakes, and dessert bars, the classic tiered wedding cake is coming back in a big way.  Beautiful cakes will always be a show stopper, and the perfect way to add some style to your wedding!

A Place to Lounge

If you’re looking for a way to dress up your cocktail hour space, an un-used corner of your room, or just want a fun place to hang out, consider adding a lounge area to your wedding!  It’s the perfect place for guests to relax during cocktail hour, or escape to for a quick break in between dancing.

"I searched almost every venue in the East Bay and Elliston Vineyards had every place beat for its beautiful setting and services. I was lucky to be assigned Donna as my day-of coordinator. From our first meeting to the wedding you could tell Donna is a seasoned coordinator. The setting was absolutely breathtaking, especially the large fountain and “bubbling brook” running. The new gazebo with the lush hillside was a beautiful backdrop for our nuptials." - Martina & Randy – June 6, 2015
