  • I would like to set up a tour with a wedding coordinator to view the venue.  When can we meet, and how much time should I set aside?
    We are happy to show you our winery estate!  We offer ours by appointment only, we are available daily from 10:30am – 3:30pm for tours.  Please contact our office to schedule a tour.  Our tours typically take about 30 minutes.  Check out our blog with tips on visiting your potential wedding venue!
  • Do you require a food and beverage minimum?
    Some dates in peak season (April – October) require a food and beverage minimum.  Please contact our office for more information.
  • Can we place a hold on the date?
    Yes, we can place a tentative hold on available dates for 7 days. We do require that you tour the venue and receive an estimate before being able to place a hold on a date.
  • What steps must I take to reserve a date?
    To book a date on a definite basis we require the signed contract and reservation payment.
  • May I bring in my own vendors?
    Yes, while we highly recommend using one of our seasoned and vetted Preferred vendors, you are welcome to bring in outside vendors.  All vendors must be approved by Elliston.
  • What is your maximum capacity?
    Our ceremony lawn can hold up to 225 guests for a sit down ceremony.  Our patio can hold up to 75 guests at dining tables, and our indoor Terrace Room can hold up to 150 guests at dining tables.  We can accommodate up to 225 guests with tables indoors and on the patio.


  • Are you handicap accessible?
    Yes, the first floor of our mansion, ceremony area, patio and Terrace Room are all handicap accessible.  Please ask your coordinator for more information.
  • Do you have a Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room? 
    Yes, the ceremony fee includes use of the Bridal Suite and Groom’s room located in our historic mansion.
  • Is there ample parking?
    Yes, we have enough space for 250 guests to park.  We include parking attendants for weddings who will direct guests.
  • Can guests leave their car overnight?
    Yes, guests are welcome to leave their cars in the parking lot over night.  Please note that our gates will close at the end of the night, and will not be open until 10am the next day.  The Elliston property is closed for some holidays (such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Independence Day, etc.), and guests may not be able to retrieve their cars.
  • Do you allow candles?
    Yes, candles are allowed as long as they are contained in a votive.
  • Do you allow pets?
    Yes, pets are allowed outdoors only and must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times.
  • When can my vendors begin setting up? 
    For weddings & receptions, vendors may begin setting up 2 hours before the event start time.  Please note that set up times are different for ceremony-only events.
  • What time do my guests need to leave? 
    Guests must exit the property no later than 30 minutes after the wedding ends.
  • Can we take photos inside the mansion?
    Pictures inside the Mansion are only allowed in the Groom’s Room, Bridal Suite, foyer, staircase between the 1st & 2nd story, and the second story foyer.  Use of the other rooms can be arranged for an additional fee.  The mansion is closed for the rest of the event once the ceremony begins. You are welcome to take as many pictures as you like outside of the mansion.


  • Can we bring in our own catering?
    No, all food must be purchased through Elliston with the exception of dessert items.  Please see our full menu options here.
  • What types of meal service do you offer?
    We offer buffet style, plated meals, and heavy hors d’oeuvre options.
  • Can you accommodate any health or dietary restrictions?
    Yes, we can accommodate most restrictions upon request and in advance.
  • Do you offer menu tastings?
    Yes, we offer menu tastings several times throughout the year for our booked couples.  Please ask your coordinator for more information.
  • Do you allow hard alcohol?
    We are happy to offer several hard alcohol packages for weddings and events.  Please contact your coordinator for more information on our spirits packages.
  • Can we bring in our own wine, beer, or liquor?
    Depending on your beverage package you can bring in wine or beer, please ask your coordinator for more information.  Due to licensing, you can NOT bring in hard alcohol.
  • Do you include a bartender?
    Yes, all of our beverage packages include a bartender.
  • Can I take home leftover food or beverages?
    Local Health Department rulings regarding proper refrigeration and sanitation prohibit you from taking any food or beverage from Elliston Vineyards with the exception of wedding cake and your dessert items.
  • Is there a cake cutting fee?
    No, we are happy to serve and cut your cake for no additional fee.


  • What does the Day-Of Coordinator do?
    Our day-of coordinators assist with creating your floor plan, timeline, rehearsal coordination, managing your vendors the day-of, set up, clean up, and keeping you on schedule.  We will also assist with setting out your table-top decor.  Meet our coordinators here.
  • Is someone able to set out our table top decor such as favors, photos, place cards, etc?
    Our event staff is happy to put out table top decor for you.  Our staff cannot assist with floral arrangements, or hanging decorations.
  • Do you provide tables for gifts, the guest book, etc?
    Yes, we have several 6ft and 8ft tables that can be used.
  • What do we do in case of rain?
    With advance notice, we can contact one of our contracted tending vendors and arrange to have the ceremony area tented. Prices vary depending on the size and type of tenting you request. We can also look at other options such as having the ceremony inside the Terrace Room.
  • Do you include a rehearsal?
    Yes, we include a 1 hour rehearsal with your day-of coordinator before the wedding.  Rehearsals are scheduled 1-2 months before the wedding, and are based on Elliston’s availability.
  • Do you provide a dance floor?
    No, the existing floor is used for the dance floor in the Terrace Room.
  • Do you offer a head table or sweet heart table?
    Yes, we can provide a head table, or a round or rectangle sweet heart table.
  • How many guests can be seated at each table?
    We offer several different chair options and table sizes.  Depending on what you choose, we can seat anywhere from 8 – 12 guests at a round table.
  • Can we rent our own chairs?
    No, all chair rentals must go through Elliston.
