2017 Weddings Trends, Pt. 2

Happy wedding season! We are so excited to kick of our 2017 wedding season, time for champagne, gorgeous brides, dancing, and lots of cake! Last week we posted 2017 Wedding Trends, Pt.1, and we had so many trends we decided to break it up into two posts! We can’t wait to see all of these fun trends this year!

Lighting, Lighting and more Lighting!

Lighting is an important part of any event, and can make such a big difference in the look of the space! Some of our favorite lighting elements are chandeliers like these classic round candle beauties:

Most couples opt for up-lights, which are a great way to add color or warmth to a room. A few strategically placed lights can make such a big difference! We also love light washes which provide a fun patterned look . They can be used to take up some blank wall space, or add something fun to the dance floor.

Fun Linens

One of the easiest ways to add color, texture and style to your wedding, is to add some linens. With table cloths, runners, overlays, and napkins, there are so many options! Don’t be afraid to play with bold colors and patterns for your big day!

Using Vertical Space

If you’re looking to put your reception decor over the top, consider using an often overlooked part of the wedding area. Lighting, draping, and tall centerpieces are a great way to draw your guest’s eyes up. Using the ceiling will not only make your reception space look larger, it will also give you that “WOW” factor!
